• 11 Year Veteran & Bronze Star Recipient – Served with honor in the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions during times of war and crisis in Germany, Korea and Vietnam.
• Entrepreneur & Builder – Licensed General Contractor, designer, and successful small business owner with a proven eye for growth, revitalization and historical restoration.
• Community Leader – Longtime president of the Honea Path Merchants Association; led major festivals and events including Sugarfoot Festival, Honea Path’s Got Talent, and hosted one of the States largest Car Shows.
• Citizen of the Year (2016) – Honored for outstanding contributions to the town’s prosperity and spirit.
• Supporter of the Arts & Education – Husband to Yoshiko, a licensed High Master artist; together, they’ve enriched local culture and mentored young talent.
• Visionary Restorer – Known for transforming historic properties and downtown landmarks while preserving the town’s small-town charm.
• Lifelong Horseman – record-setting racer, scuba diver, and licensed pilot.. a man who doesn’t just dream, but does.
